Mangrove forests
On Tuesday, 4KS and 4FS went on a trip with the Thai department to a mangrove forest in Bang Khun Tien. Here are some pictures of us planting the mangroves and getting very, very muddy feet!

Roald Dahl day
Roald Dahl day
Hello my name is Ice. Last Thursday I dress in yellow with jeans because it was Roald Dahl favorite color. In the morning we went to the assembly to watch Year 7 show it was about some of the Roald Dahl books. After it we went up to the stage to show what we are wearing in Roald Dahl day and after the assembly we went up to our class to do literacy with Year 5. In literacy we drew the new chocolate room for Mr. Willy Wonka for his chocolate factory. After later we went down to building 3 to do a chocolate with Mr. James it was very fun. We put the chocolate into the moulds. After we went to wash our hands and we went to snack.

Hello! My name is I rak and last Thursday was Roald Dahl day and I dressed as a magic finger girl written by Roald Dahl picture by Quentin Blake.
First thing we met year 7 in assembly and they show as a drama show it was about some of Roald Dahl books. Next we show our fantastic costume year1-6.
We work with half of year 5 group in literacy lesson and other lesson. Next we went to kitchen room with our teacher (Ms.Katherine) to make some yummy chocolate. In thai class our teacher let us watch Chalie and the chocolate factory but is in Spanish.
We went downstairs to read a book for reception my kid was a boy he wanted us to read a book about space but I think it was hard for him to understand. Lunch time!!! You know I like lunch time we have some nice food our dessert is ice cream that day we ate rainbow ice cream.
Bye bye Roald Dahl day we have to stop here see you next year.

Hello my name is Jerry on last Thursday was Roald Dahl. Did you know that I dress up as Sophie in BFG.
On Roald Dahl day nobody dress up like me. On the morning at school we have assembly and we need to go up the stage and show everybody our costume.
In the class room we have year 5 to come and do some work with us. The first thing we do is invent a new room in Mr.willy wonka factory. Then we go and make wonka chocolate withMr.Jame. Then we go to snack and my friend Mont bring a chocolate for us to eat.

At the Roald Dahl day I was Matilda.
First in the morning we got to look at the costume display in pavilion 1 and we walked up in the stage to look at our costume. Next we went to our class room and we finished our wonka’s chocolate room.When we finished it we went to make some chocolates with MR. James when I made it my hand was full with chocolate and I ate it. It was very yummy like wonka’s chocolate factory. When I like the most is when I made the chocolates with MR. James. By Ya Ya.

Last Thursday was Roald Dahl day. In Roald dahl day I dressed in Matida. First Ms. Katherine let us invent a new Wonka’s chocolate factory room. My imagination was a lemonade waterfall, a white chocolate floor and wall, a cupcake tree and a cheese cake bush. All the leaves and trees were made of mint. There also a jelly red button, if you press it there will be chocolate drops one side and another side there will be candies. After that we made tasty chocolate. You must try it! Then we have Thai lesson. We watch a new version of Charlie and the chocolate factory.
We haven’t finished it yet. After that we continue our invention room. Next we had a lunch and went down stair to read with the reception class. When we finished we went to look at our work in the pavilion. Mr. James who taught us how to do chocolate let us try our chocolate. I tried two of them. I try white chocolate. I think he made like Willy Wonka’s chocolate! Today is a fantastic day! By Prim.

Nice to meet you my name is Mew I am y4 . Last Thursday we had a very fun day and there were a lot of fantastic costumes, after that we walked up stair to show how beautiful we are. Then we walked downed stair again, next we watch the story from Roald Dahl book called Matilda it was amazing and wonderful. Later that we came up the stair with y5 that going to join us, then our teacher said “You need to create a chocolate room for Mr. Willy Wonka after that we make a chocolate for Mr. Willy wonka it is very fun!

More interesting words in our writing
Over the last couple of weeks, 4KS have been working on improving our writing through using adjectives, adverbs, and more interesting words. Below are some pictures of 'criminal' words - words which are so boring, we don't want to use them in our writing! Can you think of more interesting alternatives for our boring words?
